Janice McKeen
General Manager

Janice hails from Nova Scotia originally and has called Alberta home since 1980. From 1980 until 1998, she lived in Calgary and gained a wealth of experience spanning from inside sales through to that of a financial controller. Janice transitioned into the Camp Catering industry in 1998. She has worked in remote Rig and Pipeline camps as well as holding the role of Kitchen Manager for a 200 person open camp in Northern Alberta, for over 8 years.

Janice joined the R.E.A.L. team in December of 2011, where she has been instrumental in taking this lodge from the construction phase to the “open for business” phase. Janice holds the role General Manager at Red Earth Accommodations Ltd., which entails the oversight and coordination of every team member within the facility. It is her keen attention to detail, exceptional organization and understanding of what constitutes “REAL” customer service that has enabled her to build an outstanding team of leaders at REAL, all with the same vision of raising the bar and creating a lodging facility that aims to exceed the expectations of our guests…always.

Warren Alley

Executive Chef 

Warren is originally from Toronto and attended George Brown College and graduated with his Hotel Management Degree in 1995. Warren achieved his red seal in 2001 after doing an apprenticeship with Clublink Corporation. During that time he worked at golf courses and some notable restaurants in the downtown Toronto scene.

Warren has held roles of Executive Chef, Regional Chef and most recently Corporate Chef, which has encompassed Ontario, Alberta and B.C.

Warren worked in the healthcare industry for over 14 years, as his passion for working with Seniors and providing high quality meals was his top priority.

Warren enjoys teaching and mentoring his staff and providing “best of class” service to all clients and guests. His attitude and work ethic are inspired by the people he works with.
